**SUMMARY** :

The Security Officer is responsible to protect and secure company assets and provide a safe and secure environment for our guests and employees. They must also place special emphasis on compliance with federal and state law, local gaming regulations and Internal Control Minimum Procedures, and company policies and procedures.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Assist law enforcement officials / agents when requested to do so.

* Meet attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, department and company policies.

* Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter

* Perform all job functions in a safe and responsible manner.

* Maintain proper department uniform, appearance and grooming stands.

* Other duties as required.

**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**QUALIFICATIONS**

* Minimum 21 years of age

* Prefer prior experience in civilian or military law enforcement, casino/hotel security, industrial security, or related field

* Must possess strong interpersonal skills and excellent customer service skills

* Must possess excellent verbal & written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to investigate incidents, interview witnesses and draft legible, factual reports

* Must be able to perform the following requirements

* Prolonged standing, walking and lifting and/or moving objects 25 pounds

* Must have the ability to learn the federal and state laws, regulations, and Internal Control Minimum Procedures governing the Companys local operations

* Must have the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality concerning guests, employees and Company operations

* Must be available to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays

* Must have general knowledge of first aid

* Must present a well-groomed professional appearance

* Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the job

**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**

* High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

* Prefer prior experience in civilian or military law enforcement, casino/hotel security, industrial security, or related field

**CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS**

A valid local state driver license required.

Nevada Gaming Registration.
