The primary role of the next Resys Leasing Agent will be to handle all leasing processes including, but not limited to, evaluating prospective tenants, writing up lease agreements, marketing available properties. managing any lease negotiations, manage renewals, communicate with owners and agents, and provide recommendations to clients. It will be expected that the Leasing Agent contributes to the discovery of new management properties and landlords to continue to expand the portfolio of the company.

Role and Responsibilities

• The role of the Leasing Agent will be to provide the best customer service to landlords, agents, applicants, and tenants while managing all legal aspects of the lease agreement
• Complete all tasks in a legal manner that is dictated by the Nevada Real Estate Division
• Market the available properties via MLS, Appfolio, and any other marketing channel
• Take marketing photos of the properties and assess any potential needed work/repairs for the best possible value
• Show available properties to potential tenants/applicants
• Communicate with applicants about requirements to qualify for rental
• Manage incoming applications and any application fees
• Ensure that all monies related to the leasing process are properly and legally submitted to the proper location
• Assess potential tenants through credit scores, background, rental history, and other information available
• Provide landlords with comparable rental prices for the best financial value for the client
• Provide recommendations to clients based upon professional experience within the legal realms of the leasing industry
• Provide updates to any applicants that are rejected or not qualified in a professional manner
• Manage the renewal process by communicating with the landlord about updated comparable prices and discussing with the tenant about their wishes
• Manage the renewal schedule to be sent on time to both landlords and tenants
• Pick up lockboxes from properties that have will soon have a new tenant
• Deliver keys, remotes, and fobs to new tenants in a proper manner
• Work with HOA’s to ensure the new tenants have everything they need to be registered to live in the property
• Hunt, mine, search, and procure new management contracts to build the company portfolio
• Network to create opportunities for new management contracts and potential tenants alike
• Create and write professional and grammatically correct email messages
• Properly file all paperwork in the proper location(s)
• Work well with all staff in the office as necessary for maximum efficiency and positive vibes
• Update any necessary documentation, Appfolio, or processes as needed
• Work for the benefit and betterment of both self and Resys Real Estate
• Complete any other work as required by management

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Must be an actively licensed real estate agent in the state of Nevada
• Must be an actively licensed property manager in the state of Nevada
• Must have an active Nevada Driver’s License and be in good standing with the state DMV
• Efficient in use of MS Office, Email, general office equipment, & general computer usage
• Must have great customer service skills
• Must have great interpersonal communication skills
• Must be able to problem solve under pressure
• Must be honest, respectful, professional, efficient and friendly while working with both clients and coworkers alike
• Must be able to complete any other work as required by management

Additional Notes

• Commissions to be paid for signing leasing contracts
• Any commissions from individual sales are retained
