We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for routine personalized patient care. CNA will be on rotation for around the clock coverage for a private client. This position would be a great fit for someone needing part time hours. The hours can range from 12 to 24 per week. Must be able to work overnight and early mornings.  

At least one year of experience required. Applicants should be familiar with current Nevada statues, standard procedures, and charting. We have multiple clients needs to fill for facility, outpatient facilities, and private inpatient clients as well. 

The Certified Nursing Assistant will be responsible for providing nursing care by performing simple ADL tasks.

Activities may include:

• Taking and reporting blood pressure
• Providing oral hygiene, including care of dentures.
• Providing care of the hair.
• Turning and positioning patients.
• Assisting with eating.
• Assisting/encouraging client to follow exercise program.
• Assisting with ROM (Range of Motion) exercises.
• Supervising ADL (Activities of Daily Living).
• Assisting with ambulation.
• Assisting patients to chair, bed, stretcher, and commode.
• Giving back rubs.
• Taking and reporting TPR.
• Distributing drinking water.
• Giving bedpans and urinals.
• Measuring and recording intake and output.
• Collecting urine and stool specimens as required.
• Providing morning and evening care.
• Cleaning a patient’s unit.
• Keeping a record of observations and care given.
• Informing charge nurse of changes in patient’s condition.
• Safeguarding equipment and supplies.

Job Types: Part-time, Per diem, PRN - Salary: $19.00 - $21.50 per hour
