We are recruiting for multiple call center positions.

Must be 18+ to be employed by SDMI.

SDMI is seeking experienced Call Center Patient Care Coordinators to join our team and act as the first point of contact for our patients.

$500 sign on bonus offered for this position.

A Day in the Life as a Patient Care Coordinator: You will experience busy days in a call center environment with the expectation of processing (but not limited to) 45 calls per day. You will assist callers with appointment scheduling, obtaining patient information/insurance/financial information, process incoming referrals, verifying benefits/eligibility/authorization for both new and established patients.  You will coordinate and respond to patients/referring providers in a timely manner and ensure patient satisfaction. Our best Patient Care Coordinators have the opportunity to transition into other departments within our Call Center. You can expect to be scheduled Mondays-Fridays with shifts starting as early as 8am and ending as late as 6:30pm (8 hour shifts). No weekends!  

You are an ideal candidate if…

• You have previous healthcare call center experience 

To ensure success in this role, you must have… 

• Previous experience as a medical receptionist/front desk or related experience  
• Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD10 and CPT coding and procedures
• The ability to type at least 40 wpm
• The ability to multi-task consistently and work in a fast-paced environment

You can expect to earn a starting rate of $17 hourly with the ability to transition to $18 hourly if interested in further training

SDMI is seeking Referrals Clerks to join our team!

A Day in the Life as a Referrals Clerk: You will check referrals for accuracy and completion and input the information received by doctor’s offices into computer system. You will interact with patients, physicians and staff within the call center and outside facilities providing accurate, timely and responsive information. Our best Referrals Clerks have the opportunity to transition into other departments within our Call Center. You can expect to be scheduled Mondays-Fridays with shifts starting as early as 8am and ending as late as 6:30pm (8 hour shifts). No weekends!  

You are an ideal candidate if…

• You have previous experience working with patient referrals

To ensure success in this role, you must have… 

• Previous relevant medical experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10 / CPT coding experience
• Basic typing and keyboarding skills (minimum of 30 wpm)
• Excellent phone etiquette
