Medical Gas Fill Plant Manager
The Medical Gas Fill Plant Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of our fill plant. The position requires strong management and organizational skills. Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years experience in this field.

Responsibilities:

• Production

Coordinate and assist in the filling of compressed gas cylinders as needed given staffing and training levels within the production team.

Manage efficient and cost reducing production for improved performance.

Maintain existing SOPs and communicate with other managers and employees all requirements necessary to properly inspect, fill and stage medical gas cylinders in accordance with all state and federal regulations.

Manage production inventory levels based on demand. Forecast inventory levels to ensure the branch location has needed par levels.

Maintain an adequate inventory of all testing and safety supplies need for the plant to run safely.

Competency in the proper usage and care of machinery and training of operators to keep equipment in good working order. Identify any maintenance concerns to uphold and ensure workplace safety. Manage the maintenance work required by the third-party suppliers of service maintenance.

Manage the yearly and quarterly equipment inspection forms.

• Safety and Regulatory

Train personnel in compliance, quality, and safety programs designed to set safe work environment expectations and processes. Follow, explain and understand all FDA, DOT, OSHA and Board of Pharmacy requirements as needed.

Evaluate employee performance consistently to all safety standards per company policies and procedures, FDA, DOT, and OSHA requirements.

Maintain and keep meticulous records of medical gases and supplies in strict compliance with all Food and Drug Administration regulations pertaining to pharmaceutical drug manufacturing.

          Hire and terminate employees as needed in order to maintain the staff needed to maintain the operational requirements for the Medical Gas Fill Plant.

• Administrative

Use computer systems to organize daily production records, inventory levels and utilize system statistics to plan changes to operations.

This position must understand and control cost structures, inventory levels and financial results within production to ensure a high level of inventory availability with reduced operating expenses.

• Experience

3-5 years of experience in production management at a high-pressure production fill plant and or other compressed/packaged gas products.
